The first thing you should do before installing the cabinets in the new kitchen is to make sure your level 4 feet is accurate.
Keep in mind that the level is the number one tool you will use in your installation.
My suggestion is that if you have a rental store nearby, go on a trip and rent a laser level at this step of the process.
By renting a laser level, it will provide you with the best possible level.
Setting up the laser is an easy process, and once you have determined the correct height, you can transfer the horizontal line to the wall.
To establish a reference point, mark the laser line in all the inside and outside corners of the wall.
You can then move around and connect all the laser marks you transfer with chalk lines.
Make sure you follow the next step.
Tighten the chalk line as much as possible to ensure that the line does not sag in the middle.
Line drooping is the primary reason for incorrect installation of cabinets.
After you take the line with the chalk box, go back to the laser level and double check the chalk line.
You can also use the 4 feet level if you can't get the laser level.
However, you need to be extra careful here and pay close attention to the details to make sure the lines you draw are accurate.
So, once you have determined the high point of the floor, you can measure 34 and a half inches at the high point and use your height to draw lines around the kitchen.
In this part of the work, grab the assistant's help and let them keep the other end of the level while you draw the line.
After you finish drawing the lines around the kitchen, flip the horizontal end to finish what you just did.
If the level is accurate, you will know when to return to the starting point.
If you go back to the other end of the kitchen and the lines are still being calculated, you will surely know that the level is accurate.
You need to get the exact height if the lines don't match.
That's why I suggest you rent a laser level if possible or borrow a laser level from your neighbor.
The lines will be perfectly leveled by using a laser level, which is why I highly recommend you to use a laser level.
This step is like the foundation of any structure or building.
Without horizontal and parallel lines, the entire installation process will be affected.
