The olive oil was good for her, but the taste of it fascinated Courtney McVan.
After reading about the industry, the family doctor began looking for high-quality olive oil, when she was a medical student in Halifax.
Once she was connected to more and more people and imported it into North America, she decided to try and find a way to share that knowledge.
In the past, mcwan and her mother had come up with the idea of starting a small business.
After moving to Burlington, they thought it would be delicious to go to an olive oil shop.
They opened the store about three years ago.
"If you 've never had fresh, quality olive oil, then there's nothing else like that," 31-year-old.
"I sprinkle almost anything I eat.

"This is not a cookie cutter that can be purchased," Hurley said . " He pointed out that they specialize in European bra accessories without tape measure.
"We love that they come in because it guarantees that we will find something for them and they feel good.
Brenna Finucan, the owner, opened the store in March 2014.
She studied fashion design at university and worked as an underwear designer to create style for boutiques around the world before expanding on her own.
It provides more than 50 brands and more than 100 styles such as bras, underwear, body clothes and underwear washing and protection.
Along with many local customers, Hurley said, they attracted many tourists to the city, including some hotels that stayed at the end of the street.
Downtown Burlington is such a destination.
"Lingerie d'amour is also online for customers across Canada.

That's why Kim and Bart Nadherny opened sunshine donuts on Brock Avenue last summer.

"The couple apparently did this because they were also the master behind the son who opened two peach pizzeria --and-a-half years ago.
While each institution has its own focus, they are all focused on fresh, high

For example, Sun donuts are handmade from scratch with their own recipes.
Viksne, 27, said it was "absolutely an art" to make them ".
They also strive to create unique doughnut flavors.
Their favorite is a Boston cream called Burlington cream, made from homemade pastry cream, dipped in dark chocolate.
Other flavors are seasonal.
Today, owners are considering getting involved in wholesale, catering and more weddings.
The store is open six days a week (
