When we enter 2013, there is an interesting new development. Many people understand what is excessive.Dependence on handheld digital devices and digital media is having an impact on us.It is unhealthy in society.Digital devices have changed our ability to build good relationships both personally and socially. Our ability to communicate, our ability to use people, has deteriorated.
Remember a long time ago, "they" said that television would weaken our communication skills.Things have changed for the boy.Now some families get together to communicate TV.This heavy reliance on handheld devices and a reduction in face-to-face relationships are draining all of our personal and social energies.
"Social networking sites", for example, you know, the innovation of "smartphones" has changed our point of view of connecting with others. They promised us a technical route to better connect with others and develop our relationship. In fact, we just build relationships with the Internet and/or devices, not with another person.Others who view your social "posts" are just "observers of your newly discovered relationship ".Initially, these social networking sites offer the ability to reconnect with friends and family who live a few miles away.Because our economy is bottoming out, we can't visit face to face.Who can afford to travel because of the price problem?
I digress. social networks and these devices are slowly "dehumanizing" our relationship.Attention!!!!Now, some of us are starting to take action on this. The new exercise is called "digital diet ".In this case, one person will completely shut down all digital devices and the Internet for 30 days or more.In helping the industry, they call it "rehabilitation ".Something needs to be done.Need to raise awareness and make us human again (because I type on the computer lol ).
Has society's dependence on digital devices become a "digital addiction "?I think a lot of people will agree. It's time to reflect.Remember when there was no computer, smartphone or digital tablet before.Come back to that time with me.
I know I will tell my age with this statement, but I remember when the only phone I could use was the one connected to my parents' kitchen wall.At that time, I had to grab the phone connected to the wall, unlock the long telephone line, turn the rotating dial to call, there was no button on the phone, no sirMy whole family will hear the whole conversation when I want to chat with friends, so I really have to look at what I said Wangwang. When I speak, I wrap my fingers around the curled telephone line.Oh, those are days.

When I left the house and needed to talk to someone, I had to go to the gas station or the pharmacy to find a paid phone. You used to see a phone booth around the corner or at a local store, but they were no longer fixed.
When I was in my 20 s, the mobile phone first appeared. My first phone was a brick-sized one (the first one on the right), almost as heavy. How funny is this? Not a pocket big enough so I had to put it in my hand and it was heavy and not a briefcase. The biggest advantage of my first phone is that my arm muscles get stronger and keep in shape from dragging it around.
During that time, the call area was very limited and the price was very high compared to now.

With the passage of time and the development of technology, the mobile phone itself is getting smaller and smaller. The call area has grown, but not many people have them because of their fees.At that time, mobile phones were just a symbol of identity, usually keeping in touch with work rather than personal communication. There are no games, apps or any luxury items on these phones. All you can do is call and clear and the connection is good.Imagine that!
Boy, how the development of mobile phones from mobile phones to smart phones has changed our lives.Everyone seems to have a phone or a smartphone today. The number of people with fixed telephones at home has decreased significantly.Statistics tell us that more than two yearsMore than 30 people are connected through mobile phones. In 2009, Americans used mobile phones for more than two minutes.3 trillion.Phones and smartphones are now in the hands of children aged 13 and younger. It is now possible to track the location of mobile phones and smartphones, and parents can monitor where their children are.
The location of mobile and smartphones can now be tracked and monitored by parents, so now mobile and smartphones have become security locator devices as well as babysitters and distractions. The times are changing rapidly.
Are mobile phones and smartphones necessary?
The era of personal information has arrived.Mobile phones are no longer a luxury, but a necessity.Mobile phones and smartphones have become the iPhone for many communications and phone devices in June 20.The weight of the phone and smartphone has now reached its peak with cameras, music players, news collectors, texting machines, mini phones.PC and gaming center. The mobile and smartphone contains our pictures, records our experiences and historical clips, and stores all of our personal information.Mobile phones and smartphones have become an important part of our daily lives and have been reconfigured in society.
Is smartphone good or bad?Let me explain it with a little story. My wife and I left a popular restaurant on prom night at the local high school. Many children come to the restaurant for their dance dinner. When we walked into the parking lot after dinner, there was a group of 10-All the teenagers dress up.The men looked great in their dresses and the girls were beautiful in their prom dresses. You can see that the girls spent most of the day in the salon doing hair and nails for the occasion. The strange thing is, there are 10-12 people stood in a circle with their heads down, not talking or looking at each other.Instead, everyone is looking at their own smartphone, and the fingers are busy texting on the phone.None of these teenagers spoke to the people standing next to them. There is no human interaction between each other. The only interaction for everyone is with a smartphone. It is very obvious that each child is texting other people in the same group.
Let me try to answer the above question with a little story.
It made my wife and I laugh, but I thought about it too.Are we creating a generation with no personal skills and no one in touch? All of these ideas have asked me a question, are we a society that is more interested in being technically connected than in being "personally connected? Are we a society that hides our emotions behind words or emojis?

I recently studied a study at MIT on the impact of mobile devices and smartphones on our society.Because of our dependence on mobile phones, the public in the United States is getting closer and closer.Like the story mentioned earlier.90% of Americans have a mobile phone.Americans send and receive more than 32,000 text messages per month on average.Last year alone, 1,000 people were injured by the use of mobile phones and had to go to the hospital for first aid.In another study, people were asked to give up their phones for a month. Most participants said it was the hardest thing they had ever done.I think this is typical, said one participant, and sometimes I feel disconnected from my life and almost die without a cell phone.
Mobile and smartphones are a great invention and a great technology, but sometimes we have to put them down and communicate with each other verbally and emotionally.Don't lose contact with others.
