ajax teen arrested in laser incident - hand held laser meter

On Saturday, after allegedly targeting one hand, several charges were filed.

Police in the Durham area say the target plane is one of their helicopters.
Police said the helicopter flew 365 above Ajax to help police find a driver suspected of being drunk while being hit by a strong green light below.
The pilot had to take immediate evasive action to avoid laser attacks, but the light followed the helicopter.
The crew used it.

According to Air Canada regulations, charges against Brendon Schownwald include obstructing the police and endangering life.
Police say more and more people are using laser indicators to distract pilots.
