You can use 1V1H Portable Self Leveling MSR/G20Hmini Cross Line Laser for any job that requires a long straight line or a long straight level line etc. I often use mine when tiling. Imagine you want to install a suspended ceiling in a large building, it would be very difficult using a spirit level, but with a laser you can just set it up once and it will shine the laser beam around the room giving you a perfectly level line to work to.
